TABOU Blade and Wizz mountain bikes are characterised by their robust construction of a specially reinforced aluminium frame. Thanks to hydroforming technology it is much more resistant to overloading and the whole bike is stiffer, which is very important on mountain paths. Men's Blade bikes are available in 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 or 24 inch sizes, while women's Wizz bikes with lowered and contoured top tube are available in 14, 16,18 and 20 inch sizes.
MTB equipment
TABOU MTB bikes are also equipped with 27.5 or 29 inch wheels with strong twin-cell rims and thick tyres with deep tread. This helps in riding away from the main routes, i.e. everywhere where you have to deal with sand, mud and stones. It is good to know that this type of tyre has a slightly higher rolling resistance, so you cannot count on riding very fast on asphalt. The main task of wheels on typical mountain bikes is to keep the bike on a muddy or uneven surface.
A front shock absorber is the basis of real off-road riding. The front shock absorber on TABOU mountain bikes has the capacity to cope with the more demanding trails. The 100 mm stroke provides adequate protection for the wrists and comfort when traversing particularly unfriendly bumps.

The gears used on TABOU mountain bikes make it easy to precisely adjust the gear ratios depending on the surface or slope. The Blade men's bikes offer gearing combinations of 3x8, 2x9, 3x9 or 2x10, while the Wizz women's bikes offer 3x8, 2x9 and 3x9.
