All TABOU Kinetic trekking bikes have male and female frame versions. The difference is apparent at first glance. The top tube on a men's bike runs in a straight line and connects to the seat tube at its highest point, whereas on a women's bike this tube is curved and runs parallel and close to the bottom tube for a longer distance. This makes it easier to get on and off the bike, and helps you to jump quickly onto both legs in an emergency. TABOU Kinetic men's trekking bikes are available with frame sizes of 19, 21 and 23 inches, while women's trekking bikes are 17, 19 and 21 inches.
The wheels also have a very big influence on the comfort of riding a trekking bike. Firstly, their large diameter of 28 inches allows you to move quite fast. Secondly, the tyres of a trekking bicycle are built in such a way as to enable universal riding both on asphalt and unpaved roads. Tyres for this type of bicycle have a special tread, which is smooth in the centre and has characteristic grooves on the sides to facilitate movement on soft ground.

A typical trekking bike is equipped with additional touring accessories to improve comfort on any tour. This is the case with the TABOU Kinetic trekking bikes. As standard, they come with wide mudguards to protect against bad weather and mud, a rack with a strap and holders for panniers, or a solid stand that is invaluable when stationary. TABOU Kinetic trekking bikes are also equipped with a comfortable dynamo in the hub of the front wheel. Thanks to this design, the wheel does not create much rolling resistance and the bike is easily visible in all conditions.
